Competition Information
The competition will be conducted on the basis of the International
Code of Points 2000 with Corrections 2002 and the IRV Competition Rules
2002.

4.
|
Accreditation
Delegation members will be accredited on arrival in Lillehammer.
Please report to the competition office in Håkons Hall.
Accreditation is personal, non-transferable and a pre-requisite for
access to the training and competition hall. All competitors are
requested to have their accreditation with them whenever they are in the
competition area.
Total payment (competition, registration, accommodation and meals)
must be transferred to the following account before 25th
April 2003. A confirmation of the transfer payment must be
enclosed with the main registration form.

Visa
All those requiring an official invitation in order to apply for a
visa are requested to contact the Organising Committee without delay.

6.
|
Health and Accident Insurance
Personal Health and Accident insurance is the responsibility of each
athlete, documentation might be asked for during accreditation.
|
|
7.
|
Orientation Meeting
An orientation meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th
May at 21:30 hours in the Håkons Hall. This meeting is compulsory for
all delegation leaders, coaches and judges. The IRV and the Organising
Committee will use this meeting to distribute detailed information about
the championships. The start draw will also take place at this meeting.

|
Training
The training plan will be given to the delegation leaders at
accreditation.
|
|
9.
|
Starting order
The start draw will take place at the orientation meeting on
Wednesday evening
(see point 7).
|
|
10.
|
Competition and Training Hall
All training and competitions will take place in the Håkons Hall in
Lillehammer.
The sports hall measures 44 x 54 m.
The floor surface is wooden parquet.
Outside shoes may not be worn in the sports hall.
|
|
11.
|
Music
The following information must be clearly marked on the gymnasts’
cassette/CD/mini disc:
- National Association (country abbreviation)
- Name of competitor
- Competitor category
- Title of music, if known
- Total time (in minutes and seconds) from the first to the last
tone of the music.
The delegation leaders or coaches must sign the following
declarations:
- Acceptance of the technical conditions under which the Organising
Committee plays the music.
- Confirmation that the music used does not infringe any legal
rights and may be used within a sporting context.
Competitors must bring a reserve copy of their music with them.

|
Judging course and Attendance Check
Judging course and Attendance Check will all take place in Håkons
Hall.
|
|
13.
|
Judging Panels
The individual panels of judges will be selected be the IRV Judging
Officer.
|
|
14.
|
Scores
The scores will be displayed after each routine. All delegations will
receive a detailed list of results after the competitions.
|
|
15.
|
Complaints
In accordance with the IRV Competition Rules 1999, § 2.5 c), written
complaints may be submitted to the competition management by the
delegation leader or coach immediately after the score has been made
known.
A deposit of NOK 500 / EUR 60 must be made, which will be repaid if
the complaint proves justified.
|

Arbitration Panel
The IRV will nominate members of an arbitration panel from three
different IRV member countries at the beginning of the competition.
|
|
17.
|
Medical Care and Massage
The Organising Committee will provide medical care during training
and competitions in Håkons Hall. A physiotherapist will be available in
periods during the WC.
|
|
18.
|
Doping Controls
The Organising Committee, under the supervision of the IRV, may carry
out doping controls during the World Championships in accordance with
the guidelines for the IRV.
The controls may take place during training and competition.
|
|
19.
|
National anthems and flags
Each delegation must bring their national anthem on cassette/CD/Mini
Disc. We also ask each delegation to bring a national flag with the
following dimensions: Approximatly100x70 cm.
|
|

|
Video Documentation
All routines will be recorded on video.
|
|
21.
|
Seats for delegation members
Seats will be reserved for delegation members.
|
|
22.
|
Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony of the 5th World Championship in
Wheel Gymnastics will take place on Thursday 29th May at
20:00 hours.
|
|
23.
|
Award Ceremonies
The award ceremonies will take place as follows:
- Thursday 29th May, approximately 20:00
(Junior All Around
Competition)
- Friday 30th May, approximately 16:30
(Senior All Around
Competition)
- Friday 30th May, approximately 21:00
(World Team Final)
- Saturday 31st May, afternoon (Junior Finals)
- Saturday 31st May, evening (Senior Finals)
The top eight competitors in the All Around Competitions and all
finalists will take part in the award ceremonies and must wear their
official team clothing.

|
Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony will take place on Saturday 31st May,
immediately after the finals in the Håkons Hall. All athletes are
invited to take part and must wear their official team clothing.
|
|
25.
|
Farewell Party
A Farewell Party will be held in the Håkons Hall after the Closing
Ceremony on Saturday 31st May.
|

|
Transport
Lillehammer is 180 km north of Oslo. The nearest airport is Oslo
Airport Gardermoen, 145 km south of Lillehammer. There are direct trains
from Gardermoen to Lillehammer. A single ticket Gardermoen-Lillehammer
costs approximately NOK 200. Children aged 4-15 receive 50% discount.
Groups of 10 people or more receive 25% discount. Travelling time is 2
hours.
Sandefjord Airport Torp is another choice for those able to take
advantage of Ryanair’s low price flights from "Frankfurt Hahn"
to "Oslo Torp". Sandefjord is approximately 300 km south of
Lillehammer. Bus and train transport are available, travel time
approximately 4 -5 hours. Car or minibus rental is also a possibility.
For those planning to drive to Norway, there are ferry links from the
North of Denmark to Larvik (near Sandefjord), from Kiel in Germany to
Oslo, and from Copenhagen to Oslo. It is also possible to drive up the
coast of Sweden from Malmö.

Information Stand
There will be an Information Stand providing both competition
information and tourist information in the foyer of the Håkons Hall.
The stand will be open from Wednesday 28th May until Saturday
31st May. An Internet Café will also be available.

The official languages of the championship are English and German.
Translation into other languages must be organised by the delegations.
Announcements will be made in Norwegian, English and German.

The Organising Committee of the championships is only responsible for

accommodation must be booked privately, but can be ordered at the same
